🎯

1. Getting Started

Account Creation

Create a complete profile with accurate information including your name, email, educational/professional background, and skills. A complete profile helps organizers understand participants better and may improve your chances in contests.

Browse Contests

Explore active contests and hackathons across different categories: AI/ML, Web Development, Mobile Apps, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, and more. Read the contest description, requirements, and judging criteria carefully before registering.

Registration & Payment

Pay the participation fee before the registration deadline. Once registered, you'll receive contest materials, submission guidelines, and access to the participant forum.

⚠️ REFUND POLICY:

Participation fees are NON-REFUNDABLE under any condition, except when:

  • • The contest or hackathon is cancelled by Zyprolyn, AND
  • • It is not rescheduled within 30 days of the original date

Refunds will not be issued for personal reasons, scheduling conflicts, team issues, or any other circumstances.

👥

2. Team Formation and Management

Solo vs Team Contests

Check if the contest allows solo participation, team participation, or both. Solo contests require individual work, while team contests allow collaboration with specified maximum team sizes (typically 3-5 members).

Creating a Team

Form your team before or immediately after registration. Invite team members via email - they must have Zyprolyn accounts. Choose a team name and designate a team leader who will be the primary point of contact.

Team Changes

Team changes are allowed only within the first 48 hours after registration. After this period, team composition is locked. If a team member drops out, the remaining members must continue or withdraw from the contest. No refunds will be issued for team member dropouts.

💻

3. Project Development Rules

Original Work

All code and content must be created during the contest period. Pre-existing projects, templates, or code written before the contest starts are not allowed unless explicitly permitted in contest rules.

Open Source and Libraries

You may use open-source libraries, frameworks, and APIs (e.g., React, TensorFlow, Firebase). However, the core functionality and innovation must be your original work. Clearly document all third-party resources used.

AI-Assisted Development

Using AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude for code assistance is permitted. However, you must understand and be able to explain all code in your submission.

Plagiarism

Copying code, designs, or ideas from other sources without proper attribution is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification. We use plagiarism detection tools to verify originality.

📤

4. Submission Requirements

Required Components

Your submission must include:

  • Working project (deployed link or executable)
  • Source code repository (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
  • README file with setup instructions
  • Project documentation explaining features and architecture
  • Demo video (2-5 minutes) showcasing functionality

Submission Deadline

Submit before the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. We recommend submitting at least 1 hour before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
